Where Is Your Country?   Romans 13:1-7

As we celebrate the birthday of our nation we take a look at what the Bible says to us about our true country. 

Helping the Church Reach Unity   1 Thess 5:14

The goal of a New Testament church should be to create an environment where each member has the singular goal of helping each other reach unity in the faith and knowledge of God.  All members are to be involved in helping others spiritually mature and grow in their faith and trust in God.  This only happens when the church as a whole has a singular purpose:  to do God's will.

Vengeance   1 Thessalonians 5:15

God's children are never to pay back wrong for wrong.  Instead we are to treat everyone with kindness, even if they hurt us.  In this way we will truly be lights in a dark world and will stand out as being very different.  This may be one of the strongest testimonies we can give to those around us.
