Forward or Backward As we close out chapter 10 the author makes a final plea to his readers to make sure they have given their lives to Christ. It seems there were those who had accepted Christianity as a new philosophy, believed all that it teaches and even withstood great persecution but they have never given their lives to Him. Therefore they are not a part of the kingdom of God.

The Way to and of Life The author gives a detailed argument proving that salvation has always been by faith and not by works. He defines faith and then gives a litany of the great heroes of the Jews to prove they were commended and accepted for their faith and not their works. |
