The "How" In the past weeks we have studied the new promise in Christ and the new covenant that came out of the promise. The promise and the covenant are vastly superior to the old promise and covenant (Law) found in the Old Testament. Today we continue on understanding the new covenant by looking at how the new covenant is applied to our lives and brings us into relationship with God.

Not Guilty The author moves from empirical evidence to personal evidence to support his argument for the new covenant. Under the new covenant our conscience is cleared; we are relieved of the sense of guilt. No other religion, philosophy, teaching or activity can accomplish this. Only the power of God through the sacrifice of Christ can remove the guilt we feel. |
